Ultrasound Screening

Wellness begins with a clear view within.

Ultrasound screenings can play a vital role in your wellness journey by providing a real-time view of your body’s systems and overall function. It may help identify potential concerns early, guide a targeted lifestyle, or support a more proactive, informed approach to your wellness.

Available at our Deer Park location. Call us at (509) 838-5800 to schedule your appointment or learn more.

We offer two types of ultrasound services to meet different health needs: screenings and diagnostic imaging.

Our ultrasound screening services provide a quick, noninvasive look at specific organs or entire body systems to support preventive and proactive health care. These screenings are not recorded or formally measured, are not used to diagnose, and are not for those with pre-existing imaging, but they may help identify obvious abnormalities that may warrant further evaluation or establish a baseline. Screenings are performed by a highly experienced sonographer technician who interprets the images in real time during the exam. These screenings are not sent to a radiologist for detailed diagnostic review. Common reasons for ultrasound screening include routine health checks, age-based monitoring, family history of medical concerns, and establishing a personal benchmark for overall wellness. Screenings are self-pay, and no referral is needed.

Our diagnostic imaging services provide in-depth, focused studies for a detailed evaluation of specific body systems. These studies are ideal for patients experiencing symptoms, managing a known condition, or seeking a targeted assessment of a particular concern. Each diagnostic ultrasound is carefully reviewed by a radiologist to deliver a comprehensive, expert diagnosis, helping guide personalized care and treatment decisions. Diagnostic imaging is covered by most insurance plans, and self-pay options are also available if insurance is unavailable. A referral is required and can either be arranged through our clinic or provided by another healthcare provider. Please call our clinic for more information on diagnostic imaging.

Screening vs Diagnostic Imaging

Ultrasound Screening Services

If you’d like to include more areas in your ultrasound, each additional area is $100. You can also review our Complete System options for multiple-location ultrasounds at bundle pricing.

These screenings are intended solely for preventive assessment and are not used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical management. Please note that these screenings are conducted in real time and interpreted by the sonographer; we do not record the sessions or provide physical photos or copies of the imagery.

Abdominal

$120

A liver ultrasound screening provides a quick look at the liver’s overall appearance to identify obvious changes such as visible masses, or the coarse surface patterns often associated with chronic inflammation. Common reasons for a screening include metabolic health tracking, a history of alcohol use, high cholesterol, or persistent discomfort in the upper right abdomen. Because the liver often functions quietly even when stressed, this preventative scan provides a vital window into your internal health. Changes in liver appearance may be linked to diet, lifestyle factors, or underlying congestion, allowing for proactive monitoring and better long-term wellness. Screenings are not recorded or measured but can help determine if a more detailed evaluation is needed.

Vascular

$120

A carotid ultrasound screening performs an efficient scan of the carotid arteries in the neck to evaluate blood flow and arterial wall health. This preventative wellness check is designed to detect "silent" plaque buildup (atherosclerosis) or obvious narrowing that could increase the risk of a stroke. Common reasons for a screening include high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, a history of smoking, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease or stroke. Because carotid artery disease often develops without any warning signs, this proactive view provides a critical look at your vascular risk profile. Changes in the carotid arteries may be associated with age, lifestyle factors, or cardiovascular conditions that require early intervention or long-term monitoring to maintain brain health.

Cardiac

$200

An Echocardiogram (ECHO) screening provides a real-time visual survey of the heart’s chambers, valves, and overall pumping function. This non-invasive, non-diagnostic view allows for an immediate look at the heart's structural integrity, showing the movement of the heart walls and how blood flows through the valves. Common reasons for a screening include a history of high blood pressure, shortness of breath, or a proactive desire to see the current condition of the heart muscle.

For athletes and high-endurance performers, an ECHO is particularly beneficial for observing how the heart has adapted to intense physical training. It can help distinguish between healthy "athlete’s heart" (natural thickening from exercise) and obvious structural variations that might otherwise go unnoticed. As a foundation for preventative functional wellness, this snapshot offers an essential baseline to support your cardiovascular health and long-term vitality, ensuring your heart is prepared for the demands of an active lifestyle.

General Body

$120

A thyroid ultrasound screening offers an efficient, real-time visual survey of the thyroid gland’s size, shape, and overall texture. This preventative wellness view is used to identify obvious nodules, cysts, or significant enlargement (goiter) without the need for a recorded diagnostic study or formal measurements. Common reasons for a screening include a family history of thyroid issues, visible swelling in the neck, difficulty swallowing, or a desire for a proactive check of metabolic health. Because thyroid irregularities are incredibly common and often go undetected during a physical exam, this quick scan provides an immediate look at the gland's structural health. Changes in the thyroid may be associated with hormonal imbalances, iodine levels, or benign growths that warrant simple monitoring or further discussion with a provider.

Complete Systems

Abdominal Complete

$200

Our complete abdominal screening offers a quick, real-time look at the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, and aorta to spot early structural variations before they become concerns. This proactive view supports preventative functional wellness by providing a visual baseline of your internal environment. Understanding the current state of these vital organs allows you to take charge of your whole-body health, empowering you to implement wellness strategies that promote lasting vitality and disease prevention.

Vascular Complete

$200

A complete vascular screening offers a real-time view of your circulatory system by checking the carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, and ankle-brachial index (ABI). This screening allows for a visual check of the arteries to see obvious indicators of plaque accumulation or narrowing that can affect blood flow to the brain and limbs. By establishing this cardiovascular baseline, you can gain a clearer picture of your current arterial health and "silent" structural changes. Integrating this scan into your preventative functional wellness routine provides a helpful snapshot to support your heart health and circulation, ensuring your body’s transport system is functioning efficiently for long-term vitality.

Cardiovascular

$300

This bundled screening serves as a proactive, preventative tool, offering a real-time, non-invasive look at the heart and circulatory system. By combining an Echocardiogram (ECHO) with Vascular Ultrasound (carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, and ABI), this session provides a snapshot of heart structure and blood flow to identify potential abnormalities or confirm non-abnormal findings before symptoms arise. This approach offers a baseline for your internal health, allowing you to monitor your cardiovascular system and make informed wellness adjustments with confidence. These screenings are intended strictly for preventative assessment and are not used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical management plans.

The Complete Whole-Body Ultrasound

$350

The Whole-Body Bundle is our most comprehensive screening, integrating every ultrasound system we offer into one thorough session to provide a total visual survey of your internal landscape. This all-inclusive approach combines our Cardiac, Vascular, Abdominal Complete, and General Body assessments, allowing for a real-time look at the heart, carotid arteries, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, abdominal aorta, thyroid, and bladder. By observing all these vital systems at once, we can identify possible abnormalities or verify non-abnormal findings before symptoms ever arise. This complete visual perspective offers a powerful baseline for your current health, empowering you to make educated lifestyle choices and take an active role in proactive, preventative wellness.

These screenings are intended solely for preventive assessment and are not used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical management. Please note that these screenings are conducted in real time and interpreted by the sonographer; we do not record the sessions or provide physical photos or copies of the imagery.
